The Spark That Started It All
According to my late father, I entered this world already unwilling to conform. The moment I was born, I shoved away my immunization shots with my tiny, new-to-the-world feet. Did I end up vaccinated? Of course. I was a baby—there was only so much I could do. But from day one, I was ready to stand my ground, even when the world pushed back.
Where did this defiance, this agency, this deep sense of autonomy come from? Maybe it’s in my bloodline. I come from a long line of Harlem women who stood up for themselves, who fought for their space, who refused to be anything less than powerful. Or maybe it was nurture over nature—a byproduct of the stories I absorbed, the resilience I witnessed, the unshakable force of the women who came before me.
I took the "right" path—the degrees, the accolades, the relentless pursuit of success.

On paper? Impressive. In reality? I was lost. Disconnected from who I thought I was. Wondering how I ended up here and what it all meant.
Interestingly, for the journey of my life, it was branding that was the catalyst to me finding myself and finding God. I never would've imagined. Studying brand strategy led me down the path of studying brand archetypes and the classification of souls, Jungian theory, and astrology. Turns out I am quite the ALCHEMIST!
